GOOD TANK
By William_John

First of all, I would like to thank the devs for an extremely fun quest.

Speak to Paladin Talimus (Thedruke NE) He sends you to FP to stop some bandits. They spawn just outside the North entrance by the signpost on the road. Be sure to have 200 tunar on you. When they spawn, be sure to get two pop-ups that they have stolen 100 tunar from you twice. (they don't agro). Kill the named bandit and loot the coin purse. Return to Paladin Talimus.

Paladin Talimus sends you to Diren Hold to speak to Jakai and learn about justice. (Fort on top of the mountain). Jakai sends you in search of 3 items. 2 swords and a ring. All items are obtained from the chests at the siren camps. Farm keys to open chests. If you farm a key that doesn't open the chests, don't delete it. It will open a chest at another location.

Ring - Vastly Deep (E)

Sword - West Toxx (SW)

Sword - Kerra Isle (SW)

***NOTE: While in sirens, kill the Plagued Siren and loot it's gland. You'll need this later to debuff "An Ancient Corpse"***

Each camp contains eight mobs - two sets of four - with a treasure chest located (blank con) in the middle of each set. Farming the sirens will yield a NTL key. Farm sirens until you have all 3 waterlogged keys (if you go to loot one and it says you already have it in your inventory, then it is the 'same' waterlogged key as you already have. keep farming until you have all 3 waterlogged keys in your inventory).

Once you have all 3 keys, try the keys at each different Siren Camp to open the chests.

Return to Jakai with all three items.

Jakai sends you to pass judgment on Calidux at Qeynos Prison (bottom of the main building). Speak to Calidux and he tells you his version of things and about an undead menace. He give you a choice to either find a toxic gland for a debuff potion or to simply slay the beast. If you choose to find the gland it drops off a rare span (plagued siren) in Kerra Isle (SW). Return to Calidux with it.

***Highly recommend getting this debuff potion***

If you chose to slay him, you can still obtain the debuff potion by farming the gland and returning it to Calidux.

The undead Menace is a mob named 'An Ancient Corpse' and is located in Basher's Enclave (N). This mob is on a trigger and despawns after 20 minutes or so if not engaged. You can re-trigger him by returning to Calidux and choosing 'I failed he's nowhere in sight'. He respawns in about a half hour. Debuffed this mob still resists most all nukes so better to have petters. Tank, healer, and several petters take him out with no problem. This mob was about as easy as Graal the Leviathan. This mob Buffed will require a raid party. He drops 4 NTL items. Loot and return to Calidux.

Calidux then proceeds to whip your ass! He is easily 1 grp'd (don't try to solo, he doesn't do much damage, but when he casts his pet you are toast). He drops 2 NTL items. Loot and return to Jakai for 30 Mil xp and 10K tunar. You will return to Jakai for epicsode 3.

1. Talk to Celedonicus in Qeynos bard guild. Kill bandits in Tak Hiv (c) to farm 4 Sashes. Return to Celedonicus.

2. Talk to Jezia in Qeynos(sw), just outside castle by a tree. Kill Slayers/Inquisitors in Burial Mounds(sw) to farm Jezia's Locket. Return to Jezia and deliver note in Freeport, return to Celedonicus.

3. Talk to Adiliv in Arcadin near pool inside city. Kill Enchanting Sirens in Vastly Deep(e) to farm Adiliv's voice. Return to Adiliv.

4. Talk to Nicton in Gentar's Mine(e) in dwarf camp with tall tower just east of coach. Kill Eyes in EG to farm an Eyelash. Return to Nicton.

5. Talk to Mervol in Davar Manor next to tree by coach. pay Jebodan 5k (maybe more or less depending on your choice) in the manor house across from Mervol. Return to Mervol.

6. Return to Celedonicus in Qeynos bard guild.

7. Run up coast from castle to Qeynos(nw) to spawn Graal the Leviathan - BIG snake that moves from the land to the water - can use some type of rune to get him in the water or the land, otherwise you can wait on land and kill him pretty easily. Graal drops four scales (Evil Tanks need also)

NOTE: You can bind him to either element with a Rune of Earth or Rune of Tide. Rune of Earth binds Graal to land, and can be farmed at EG. Rune of Tide binds Graal to the sea and can be farmed at any of the new Siren camps. Graal is weak against disease spells, and for resists:PR

Return the Scales to Celedonicus for your exp. (no item, armor or spell)

GOOD CASTER

Ok start off talking to Magi in Element Towers(w), he tells you to stop bandit problems in FP. Go to FP, out the northgate (by the blacksmith) and wait for the 3 bandits to spawn. Make sure you have 500 tunar on you so they can pick your pockets (otherwise you won't get the popup). The spawn time is variable, the 3 bandits walk from the north gate, through FP, and out by the coach, then despawn. That is all the time you have to assemble your group and kill them. If you get the popup etc. but don't succeed, don't worry, you can just wait for the next respawn and try again. You don't need to kill all 3 bandits, just the one in the middle (the brigand), and loot his coinpurse. NOTE: you must be in the KS group for the brigand to advance your quest.

Return to the Magi, he will tell you to get 3 gems to summon Vylimuza.

To get the 3 gems you will need 6 fragments in all
* 3 are random drops off Enchanting Sirens in Kerra(sw), West Toxx(sw), and the Vastly Deep(e);
* you'll need to loot 3 keys from the Sirens to open the Chests which is where you will find the other three gems. The easiest way to get your keys is to keep farming sirens until you have three keys in your inventory, then travel to each of the three siren locations and open your chests.
* note on farming sirens: a tank has a hard time at sirens due to their mana sucking power. The easiest way is a 3 pet group with resist cleric - you can send the pets right in, they won't aggro the sirens beside the one you are killing. Alchs are handy at sirens with their breathe water pots, and Ench are pretty handy if they come with a Rhino :)

In your inventory now, you should have all six fragments:
Logic, Passion, Complacency, Calculation, Motivation, and Restraint.

Now, buy a standard Jeweler kit (any kit) and fuse your gems as follows:
Logic +Calclutaion
Passion + Motivation
Complacency + Restraint

After that you'll have 3 gems, all ready to turn in to the Magi.

When you turn them in, you have to fight Vylimuza of the Tide, Vylimuza crits for 1200 melees for 1020, and has an 1k aoe, and nukes for 363 with very high hp, you'll need a raiding party for this. CR nukes are only nukes (400 with max cr).

After the Tide is dead loot your soul up and turn in.

You'll get 10k, and flagged for last part and 35mill xp.

GOOD HEALER
by Mothorill

Speak with Ruddish the devout - Spider Mines (S/SW border), on the river bank.

He sends you to Tak'Xiv (C) to slay Sothimus the Brigand. Once there, you will find a camp of Desert Marauders / Pillagers / Henchmen. These enemies hit considerably hard; a tank with high AC and AGI is required - even then, the damage will range from around 250 to 400 per strike. Continue to farm them - one to three hours; until Sothimus the Brigand spawns. Healers need only to be in the kill group, for the AoE flag, in order to advance their quest. No items are needed.

Return to Ruddish after your quest has been advanced.

He now sends you to procur three toxic glands - one of air, one of sea, and one of land. All three of these mobs con red to 60, and require minimal help to kill.

-- AIR - Plagued Forest Drake - South Toxxulia, near Shrixiv, allegedly farm millipedes to spawn, but Yado finds that the fastest way to spawn a Plagued Forest Drake is to kill the Rancid Murkwoods.
coglin comments: I do know if you have to kill wild life to spawn it it's easiest to do in (N) and (NE) subzones.

-- SEA - Plagued Siren - Farm the Enchanting Sirens in The Vastly Deep (E), West Toxxulia (SW), or Kerra Isle (SW)

-- LAND - Plagued Kobold Hunter - roams in Stonebrunt Mountains (C), (S), & (SW)

Return to Ruddish with the three toxic glands.

Ruddish will now fuse the glands to form a Rune of the Plagued. After he gives it to you, he sends you to Odus to figure out what it is for. Upon inspection of the item, you see this:

"...evarg yretaw sih ot mih nruter dna ekal eht morf erutaerc degniw eht kees..."

It appears to be scrambled nonsense, but it is really this backwards:

"Seek the winged creature from the lake and return him to his watery grave"

Using this Rune of the Plagued, head to Stonebrunt Mountains (C) to search for a popup. It can be found on near the eastern entrance to the Grizz Cave, near a large rock along the northern shore of the lake. To find the lake, bear right (East) around the large central mountain and continue North until you see it. Once you receive the popup, the rune will be replaced with an unscrambled one.

Return to Ruddish with the unscrambled rune.

Ruddish will now send you to trigger a dragon,
Cyrcalis, in Stonebrunt Mountains. He gives you two options for killing the Dragon:

-- Seek the runes, scattered throughout Tunaria and Odus, so as to debuff the creature...
(TY Shorte & Coglin)
Rune of the Frost - Goblins, North Wilderlands & TFGs, perma (don't confuse it for frost rune, which drops from tfg's and will appear in misc in your inventory; it's blue coloured. Rune of Frost is a brown rune and will appear in your Tradeskills section of inventory)
Rune of Poison - Treant prisoners, Guardian Forest (NW)
Rune of Fire - Animated Lava/Basilisks, Lavastorm [epic mobs are marked; see legend at bottom]
Rune of Lightening - Froglocks in Burial Mounds and Guk
Note (TY Shorte and Wickedlyrics):
You don't need all four runes, as you can only combine 3 different runes for debuffing him.
Different combinations will take away the nukes for those runes (ie. using the FR rune means he can't nuke with fire, using the Frost means he can't nuke with ice, etc.).
You don't even need all three, if you think you have a strong enough force.
For instance, combining the LR and FR runes makes the “Rune of Searing Electricity" which will take away his ability to nuke with LR/FR. In this case, just let your tank know to ensure his PR and CR are maxed as those would be the 'undebuffed' nukes.

-- Simply mobilize with a strong force...
Two to three groups are required for an effective kill.

Return back to Stonebrunt Mountains to the location you received the popup to spawn the dragon. The dragon drops four (4) NO TRADE LORE items.

Return to Ruddish for your reward of 30 million xp and 10k tunar.

EVIL TANK
By Romenadan (edited by Morynn)

1)Talk to Ozmo the Basher to log quest. He sends you to Tak'Xiv (C) to farm Desert Marauders for four sashes. These mobs have huge aggro and hit hard (have high AC), be careful pulling or you'll get added.

2)Ozmo sends you to Neriak (S) just west of the coachman to Tilvyis. Tilvyis sends you to Vastly Deep (E) to farm Enchanting Sirens for a key that will let you loot from their chest a Breastplate of Superiority. Sirens mana tap, easiest way to pull:tank pulls one, and mage pet taunts off, tanks swims away to get next one while group kills. Sirens don't hit hard, so this is simplest way to protect mana and keep pull rate up (way to go Prestosifto!). Have good AR.

3)Then go to Great Waste (N) and farm Taksehir Crystal Runners for Leggings of Superiority.

4)Go back to Tilvyis and hand them in. He'll send you to get Boots of Excellence from any of the TFG camps and ONE Ghostly Goo from Centaur Valley undead camps.

5) Hand those in to Tilvyis. Now he asks you for Gloves of Power and Protection. Farm any of the Animated Lava camps in
Lavastorm Mountains SE.

6) Take a group with you when you return to Tilvylis. After you turn in your gloves, you will have to fight him. He will start hitting before you've even finished reading the popups. He hits hard, but is easy with just a group. He respawns, talk (he's actually quite funny). You receive a lvl 65 Breastplate of Superiority- 420AC sta40 and hp100+.

7) Go to Ozmo the Basher, then back to Tilvyis. Talk to him and he sends you to rid Qeynos of a Seaserpent eating all the Neriak spies. Bring a Large force for this, Graal the Leviathan spawns in Qeynos (NW). He can port between water and land, if you don't kill him fast enough and he ports, he heals. You can bind him to either element with a rune farmed from EG.He drops Four NTL scales (Good Melees need this drop as well).

Turn in the scale to Tilvyis for 24mil xp and 10k tunar.

(Big TY to Shorte from the Hodstock server for pointing out some glaring shortcomings in the walkthrough we originally had posted!)

1- Rashiroz the Rogue starts ya off by sending you to kill the bandits that come to the north gate of FP every few hours or so, much like the good caster epic. Evil Melee needs the coin purse dropped by the brigand, and to talk to one of the henchman.

2- Rashiroz the Rogue now tells you that he wants to summon Vylinnuza, and you need to help him get her consciousness. The conscioussness is in three parts, but must be constructed together using six items. To do this step, you will need a jewelry kit (you can have level zero skill in jewelcrafting, so don't worry about being a crafter) and the correct combination of items. If you don't craft them correctly, they will disappear.

The mobs you need to farm are Enchanting Sirens, and there are three camps of them: Vastly Deep (E), Kerra Isle (SW), and West Toxx (SW). Each camp contains two sets of four mobs each, with a treasure chest located (blank con) in the middle of the four. Farming the sirens will yield a NTL key - now, some important notes on the keys.

There are three different types of keys, which are totally indistinguishable. They are all NTL, with the same description and same name. Each different key opens up the chest at a different location, but you cannot tell which one opens which location. The best strategy is just to farm sirens until you have three waterlogged keys in your inventory, then try them each of the three different siren camps (if it says you already have that key in your inventory, then you have the exact same key....keep farming until you can loot three into your inventory).

Here are the six items that an evil melee will need:

a) Fragment of Logic - random drop at all three camps.
b) Fragment of Passion - random drop at all three camps.
c) Fragment of Restraint - random drop at all three camps.
d) Fragment of Calculation - chest reward at Kerra Isle camp.
e) Fragment of Motivation - chest reward at Vastly Deep camp.
f) Fragment of Complacency - chest reward at West Toxx camp.

Now when you have all the items, it's time to craft. Equip a jewelcrafting kit, and make the following combinations:

Complacency - Restraint
Logic - Calculation
Motivation - Passion

You will create three NTL gems - Turquoise, Azure, and Cobalt. The return to the Rashiroz the Rogue, who will give you a NTL equippable robe, which you will use to disguise yourself and trick Magi'Kot in Elemental Towers (W) into summoning for you. Be sure to bring your raid force to Elemental Towers.

3- Raid force? That's right. Magi'Kot despawns and summons up Vylinnuza of the Tide. She walks in from the north, and is a beast of a mob. She crits for 1200, melees for 1020, nukes for 400 (with max CR and LR), AoEs for 1000, and has tons of HPs.

She resists all nukes (to zero!) except lightning, which hits for a reduced amount. At one or two reds left, she begins hitting the tank much harder. You will need 5-8 healers to MT the mob, depending on the build of the tank. Tank must max up CR and LR, and have high AC and AGI.

Killing her gave 860k for a group of 60s, so she must be pretty high level. Kill this boss mob and she will drop four NTL Vylinnuza's Soul items.

Reward is 30millxp and 10k tunar

The quest starts at Seer Yalgima in Bashers Enclave NE. She tells you to go to Freeport and kill the Bandits and bring back a coinpurse. In fp, a Bandit Henchmen and Brigand will spawn outside the northgate. The spawn time is variable, just park your group there and wait. You must have at least 500 tunar on you for them to steal to get the popup and get flagged. Get close to them (they will not attack), get the popup, then kill them. The Brigand drops the Coinpurse, he drops 3. Loot one, return to Seer Yalgima.

Then she asks you to get her 2 undead souls. The first one can be found in Centaur Valley north of Black Water. Farmed across the river, further down - farmed 4 undead mobs and eventually a wandering spectre (cons red) spawned on top of us. It has the Soul of a Wandering Spectre, ntl. Loot it.

The second souls is in Dead Hills NW, where the PoD portal is. The placeholder to farm is the mob at the south corner of the south tomb. Farm the lb mob there until a Red Derelict Mummy spawns. When you kill him, there is a chance you will spawn a Derelict Mummy's Soul. If he spawns, he'll spawn right on top of you, immediately when the first one dies. Be prepared.
Note: Yado informs us there is another spot you can farm your placeholder in Deadhills (south), again, on a hill with a tomb on top. The ph is the left one.

Then she asks you to go get the plagued gland from the plagued siren..this mob can be found at any of the siren camps in odus. She then tells you she is gonna use the 2 souls you brought her earlier to call out the ancient soul...this mob is found exactly NW of the seer found on a hill between 1 swampy lakes standing by a tree...he looks like a skeletal giant. This mob resists everything except fire based spells.

Notes; Dead hills (S), its a crypt on purplish colored ground, red derelict mummy spawned, soon as he dropped, a dereclit mummy's soul spawned.

Speak to Jen'Tylis in Green Rift (W), standing next to the well, in the Gal'Saris camp.

Upon speaking with him, you are told: "Go to Tak'Xiv West and take out the bandit leader. Take his coins and bring them to me. I'll get it back to Freeport."

Your destination is Tak'Xiv (C), which is immediately WEST of the Oasis of Marr. Along the river there, you will find a camp of Desert Marauders / Pillagers / Henchmen. These enemies hit considerably hard; a tank with high AC and AGI is required - even then, the damage will range from around 250 to 400 per strike. Farm these - one to three hours - until Sothimus the Brigand spawns. Kill him and loot the coin purse.

Return to Jen'Tylis with the coin purse.

He now sends you to procure an Engraved Ring, from the sirens in Odus. Doing this entails your farming one of the following three Enchanting Siren camp locations:

-- Vastly Deep (E)
-- Kerra Isle (SW)
-- West Toxxulia (SW)

Each camp contains eight mobs - two sets of four - with a treasure chest located (blank con) in the middle of each set. Farming the sirens will yield a NTL key. There are three different 'waterlogged keys' - the easiest thing to do is to just farm sirens until you have all three keys, then head to the West Toxxulia-(SW) camp and try each key there. One of your three keys will open the chest and yield you your reward. (TY Yorkiedruid)

***NOTE: While in sirens, kill the Plagued Siren and loot it's gland. You'll need this later to debuff "An Ancient Corpse"***

Return to Jen'Tylis with the Engraved Ring

He now sends you to "...Search out Ualdius's ghost and he will tell you more. I believe he was slain somewhere near the lair of Lady Vox.."
Ualdius' ghost roams, on the ice, in right in front of the ice cave entrance to Vox Castle.

Ualdius sends you to find and kill Teledic, who is located in Vox Castle.

Proceed through the MAIN entrance to Vox Castle (Bridge). You will come to a room with four (4) passageways - one to the WEST, one to the EAST, and two to the NORTH. Take either one of the NORTH passageways. You will come to a room with a fountain in the center. On the NORTH wall, there are two passageways - one on the far left side, and one on the far right side of that wall. Go through the one on the far right side. Teledic spawns in this hallway, yet periodically roams to several other hallways in the general area. Teledic quads a solid tank for damage between 200 - 300. Be warned though: he has a 500 fire-based DS, a 860 damage fire-based nuke, and several self-heals. Additionally, he has very high AC and AGI. A resist cleric / druid, a tank, and some damage (preferably petters) are necessary.
After killing him, return to Animator Jen'Tylis.

Your instructions: "Travel to the prison in Qeynos. There is a man named Calidux awaiting trial. See if you can either prove his innocence or seal his fate as a condemned man."

Your destination: Qeynos Prison (E), in the dungeon, under the central housing. Calidux is located at the end of the passageway that is next to Ulthud the Wall (bottom of the main building). Upon talking to him, you are told to slay the undead menace, in the swamps of Odus. However, you are really going to Basher's Enclave (N), which is west of Grobb. The mob you need to kill is "An Ancient Corpse".

Apparently Calidux gives you a choice to either find a toxic gland for a debuff potion or to simply slay the beast. If you choose to find the gland it drops off a rare spawn (plagued siren) in Kerra Isle (SW). Return to Calidux with it.

***Highly recommend getting this debuff potion***

If you chose to slay him, you can still obtain the debuff potion by farming the gland and returning it to Calidux.

'An Ancient Corpse'
will despawn after 20 minutes if not engaged. If he despawns, go back to Calidux and tell him you couldn't find him, and it will re-trigger the mob in about a half hour.

If you get the debuff potion, eight or more people are needed, due to its high AC / AGI. If you don't get the potion to debuff him, this is a raid quality mob. Four NTL ancient corpe souls drop - take one of them back to Calidux.

You have been betrayed! After acquiring the soul, Calidux reveals his true intentions. He becomes KoS and attacks you; you will need a group to finish him off. After killing him, loot an Alizander's Journal from his corpse, and take it back to Animator Jen'Tylis.

Having learned your lesson about trust, Animator Jen'Tylis rewards you with 30 million experience points and 10,000 tunar.
