Adventurers of Norrath, the moment you have been waiting for has arrived! The final chapter of the epics are live and ready for the most brave and powerful adventurers to fulfill their destiny. Do you have what it takes to see these trials to the end? Good casters should return to Magi`Kot to find the last of the powerful souls needed for the ultimate summoning. Ruddish sends priests to get their final approval, this time, from the goddess of Love. Celedonicus sends good melee folks to help a ranger friend in Tethelin. Jakai sends tank types to, of all folks, a shadowknight in Freeport who will really test their determination. Evil tanks are pleasantly surprised that they are not in search of another set of armor, but unspeakable terrors. Melee folks hunt down the last portion of the prophecy and find that all is not what it seems. Priest of the evil persuasion attempt one more time to communicate with spirits beyond this realm to find out the truth once and for all. Finally, evil casters help their contact to get a bit of revenge on an unlikely suspect that wronged him. While your previous contacts are ready to give you the final tasks required to obtain your item and ability reward, it is still unsure what the fate of the lands will be. Evil folks, are those Lieutenants really your allies? Good people of Norrath, you may have found the strength to defeat the undead threats, and even made use of their remains, but are you ready for what's next? Only time will tell, and the best way to prepare yourself is to gain strength by obtaining your new, powerful ability and item! Good
Healer Starts
from Ruddish the Devout in Spider Mine SW. He sends you to Lilla in RV
who's on the west edge of the lake near a boulder. She screams bloody
murder about her husband and you offer to help find him.
After owning AoH, Errolisi Marr herself spawns by the rock, turn in the
quest piece to her for 73 mil XP with no XP pot. She sends you off to
Eripolus on the south side of the lake in Shon-To Monastery for your ability
section of the quest. 1.
Speak to Ty'lvis after completing Epic-Sode 2. 9. Epidopoulus will now send you back to the city where you logged your quest, in FP for SKs. Next to the recuriter will be an NPC, Hylddia (south of coach). She will give you the choices of items telling you stats and everything you need to know. Later, you can switch back and forth whenever you want. Good
Melee (similar
to Evil Tank) 1)Speak
to Celedonicus in the Bard Guild of Qeynos after completing Epic-Sode
2 Quil'Eyne
is extremely hard...with a 2000 hit quad, 2000 nuke, 2000 critical, 2000
damage (looks like taunt) spell, and a small proc...he is very hard to
MT. You can either use pets to Zerge him or MT him. CS has found it much
easier to just tank him (a little more effort to set up, but eliminates
all deaths from zerging), just ensure you have enough patchers to cover
the damage he puts out, and get the necessary debuffs on him. Ensure he
stays below in the basement (even one side room has a defender in the
bsmt, be careful). If ur peeps are casting from the ramp, and don't manage
their aggro well, QE will aggro up the ramp, then you're at risk of adding
the Defender/Protector which spawns at the top of the ramp. Once that
guy gets involved you will be camped and die on the rez and have to run
back. Kill him and loot the BLOOD (Quil'Eyne will drop 4 bloods and 4
journals. The journals are for evil tanks and bloods for good melees). Good
Caster Talk
to Magi`Kot. He sends you to find Boldunder in the deserts of Odus She is, so far, impossible to MT (those she has aggro on, she ports of the island. and takes forever to kite (over an hour). CS has done her a few times and finds the best way to kill her is to just pet her-it takes around a 1/2 than an hour to kill her this way: have all casters send in pets to attack at the same time. Keep a secondary pet on ur spell bar as your first pet might die so quick the recast time on your first pet hasn't been met. Don't HoT ur pet, or when pet dies she'll follow the aggro back to you. Just keep recasting pet (have the two biggests pets on your tool bar) and sending pet in against her. Tanks shouldn't taunt, just do melee damage, SK's should use all their debuffs on the mob. If you don't kill her within one hour, she full heals. She does port peeps who have aggro (not all the time) - meet up with Good Caster quester next time they get killed and get another gem to go back. Anyway, kill her. She'll drop 8 "torn journal page"s for 8 lucky questers. After she's dead (take a xp pot), head NW of the IoW port to talk to Magi`Kot's ghost (roams near pagoda). **Note: If you got a drop from Ahriaana but weren't on that part of your epic, and now you are, this is how you complete your quest: The Magi'kot in Elemental Towers will send you to PoS. Speak to him again up there and spawn Ahriaana. If you wait an hour she will despawn and the ghost will appear. Take a xp pot, speak to the ghost and turn in your torn page. The ghost spawns at a different spot from Magi - he spawns on the opposite side of the pagoda and roams. You're
done!
Visit your quest npc by the lake near the shon-to monestary outside of
Moradhim. When you first talk to him he'll ask if you're ready to reset
you tp and cms (be prepared). Then he'll give you an option of 3 spells,
two are similar to the one you picked a 49, and a new spell. Then you'll
be sent to another npc to get your weapon..CG!
Evil
Melee Return
to Rashiroz the Rogue. He sends you to find Boldunder in the deserts of
Odus She is, so far, very difficult to MT (ports those with aggro off the island) and takes forever to kite (over an hour). CS has done her lots and finds the best way to kill her is to just pet her-it takes less than a 1/2 hour to kill her this way: have all casters send in pets to attack at the same time. Keep a secondary pet on ur spell bar as your first pet might die so quick the recast time on your first pet hasn't been met. Don't HoT ur pet, or when pet dies she'll follow the aggro back to you. Just keep recasting pet and sending pet in against her. Tanks shouldn't taunt, just do melee damage. If you don't kill her within one hour, she full heals. Everyone who can debuff her should, shamans (esp mystics), the SK armour drain, Merc debuffs, rogue debuffs, etc. She does port peeps who have aggro (not all the time) - meet up with Evil Melee quester next time they get killed and get another gem to go back. Anyway, kill her. She'll drop 8 "torn journal page"s for 8 lucky questers. Important
Note-TY to Gruphugz, Minstrel, CLW **Note: If you got a drop from Ahriaana but weren't on that part of your epic, and now you are, this is how you complete your quest: The Magi'kot in Elemental Towers will send you to PoS. Speak to him again up there and spawn Ahriaana. Once you've spawned Ahriaana you can RH and go speak to your epic NPC etc (as per the directions in the above paragraph). You're
done! After
getting your quest xp, you'll then be sent to the Shon-to Monastary for
your ability reward and training point/cm reset. Two ability choices are
continuations of the two path choices for your class, the third is a broken
path option. Now it's off
to FP for your item choices. CG! Evil
Caster 1)Log
quest from Animator Jen'Tylis in Green Rift(W) once again.
7)Hand in the talisman to Animator Jen'Tylis. Important
note: In the Oct 06 EQOA update, AoL is now super-sowed and
cannot be kited. She has to be Main Tanked. Otherwise, get enough dd's out and try and kill her in the 2-3 minutes before her DS casts and she self heals. With good support she's not that hard to MT. She drops 8 Arrows of Love.
9)Return to Animator Jen'Tylis and turn in the arrow of Love to recieve
100 million XP. Speak to him again and he will tell you to travel to Shon-to
Monastary where you will receive your rehab and ability. You will then
be sent to another npc next to the Recruiter in FP to collect your Epic
Item! Good Tank (similar
to Evil Healer) After
talking to Jakai, she tells you to speak with Shinlos and follow his instructions,
and you find out your character is prejudiced. They
range from db to yellow and dont hit very hard on tanks, but have tons
of hp. You must hurry and kill them all as quick as possible for you have
started a timer that cant be stopped. Whether or not they're dead another
wave of 5 or 6 will spawn, harder than the first wave. Repeat until you
get "Synder of the Indigo" to spawn. This guy is bad ass, with 4kac he
quads for 1k and nukes, MT him, with rhinos he wont be much problem. Once he is dead, collect his loot, TALK TO HIS GHOST (spawns in the cubby under the ramp; the ghost despawns quickly) and go talk to Shinlos. Note:
if you think you've gotten all the popups, looted the necklace, and the
ghost WON'T talk to you, back out of the cubby and try roaming
around the room for another popup. This happened to Jori recently; Synder
was killed, she looted item, ghost wouldn't talk to her, but she backed
up into room and got a popup (apparently she'd missed one); spoke to ghost
and completed quest. Evil
Healer (similar to Good Tank) Start off by speaking with Yalgima in Bashers Enclave. She tells you to speak with Kraznak (who is west of her, next to a rock [TY Yado]). When you speak with Kraznak he tells you to speak with the spirits. The spirits spawn right next to Kraznak. They spawn in 15 minute intervals. So after speaking with Kraznak the first spirit will not spawn for 15 minutes. DO NOT MOVE. There are three spirits in total plus Kraznak must respawn after speaking with the third spirit so be prepared to sit there for an hour. The first spirit spawns towards the south. Read the text and and progress through the popups. On the first spirit, there are no choices to make, so don't exit the screen, and won't screw up. you will have different options for your response on the next two spirits. You must choose the correct response or you have to start over (I.E. Speak to Kraznak and wait 15 minutes). The second spirit spawns facing West and you must choose the third option from reply (something to the effect of the spirits being upset). If you choose the wrong option, you screw up and have to wait for Kraznak to spawn and start all over. So, the THIRD option, then in 15 more minutes the next one will spawn. (Kraznak spawned at this point, but I didn't talk to him) The third and final spirit spawns facing south-east. You choose the second option (something about spirit escaped). After that you speak to Kraznak again. Next step is the final encounter. Go
to Cape Dreg (SE). From SoM just run/swim east, its a pretty long swim
to get out there. You will see a pirate ship. That is the island you want.
When you go inside the building follow the path around to the right and
you will drop down through the floor. This will trigger the beginning
of the waves. This is similar to the waves we had to do in guk but the
mobs are alot tougher. Also once this starts the door at the top of the
ramp will be sealed so no one can get out (it does open briefly between
wave spawns but no one should leave anyways). After 4-5 waves Synder of
the Indigo will spawn.
This guy is bad ass, with 4kac he quads for 1k and nukes, MT him, with
rhinos he wont be much problem. After Synder is defeated he will drop
8 necklaces. Loot a necklace and speak with the Ghost that spawns ASAP
(have everyone dismiss pets so you can get the ghost targetted). The ghost
has been known to depop rather quickly. The ghost spawns right next to
the little cubby on the floor. Once he is dead, collect his loot, TALK TO HIS GHOST (spawns in the cubby under the ramp; the ghost despawns quickly) and go talk to Shinlos. Note: if you think you've gotten all the popups, looted the necklace, and the ghost WON'T talk to you, back out of the cubby and try roaming around the room for another popup. This happened to Jori recently; ghost wouldn't talk to her, but she backed up into room and got popup (apparently she'd missed one); spoke to ghost and completed quest. After
you speak with the ghost you receive a letter and must go back to Bashers
Enclave. This is the part where you will receive xp so here is where you
will want to use your xp pot if you have one. Reward is 100Mil xp without
pots. To collect spell you are sent to Shon to Monastary (which is a zone
east of moradhim) and speak with Epidolous. This is where you will receive
the rehab. After the rehab you then get to choose your spell/ability.
Lastly you are sent to FP or Klik to receive your weap/armor reward. The
reward giver is located south of the coach. Farming Syndar: Yado tells of his trick to farm Syndar (many ppl want to farm epic mobs for the epic loot they drop). Advance your quest to the point of being able to farm Syndar; get out to Cape Dreg S/E and have your raid crew set up in the room below (you stay outside until everyone is set). Once your raid force is read, enter and proceed down the ramp, get the popup to spawn syndar, but don't proceed any further down the ramp so that you don't get any more of the popup flags. When Syndar spawns, delete your quest from the log. Relog quest with Yalgima in Bashers Enclave, do the Kraznak spirit talking bit, and you're set to spawn Syndar again. Happy farming. Farming AoH: Ozmoseus explains that AoH is a great mob to farm for epic loot. He's easy to set up for, to MT, and can be repeatedly easily in a half hour. Once AoH is spawned and killed (don't LOOT!!!), simply delete the quest and speak wtih Animator Jen'Tylis in Green Rift(W). Do the first part of the quest (fp, fungus, & biddleby) and you're set to redo AoH. Happy farming. |
