In
May, 2004, another secret new zone was unlocked. The Plague
storyline continued with the unlocking of the Plane of Disease.
The land itself looks, feels and even smells like decaying
flesh, and is inhabited by all manner of evil creatures and
undead.
| The
Plane of Disease is accessed once you have completed the
PoD portal quest (Level 50+).

There are several named mobs in this zone that require
their own specific portal quests, many raid quality.

The
Whirling Portal leads to Queen Qy'tha, the Fuming Portal leads
to Noroxus and the Bloody Portal leads to the Twins and Bertoxulous.
General
progression through PoD is to tackle Queen Qy'tha first (for
stinger), then Noroxus as his blood opens the portal through
to the Twins and Bert.
Spell
drops in PoD:
The level 60 PoD spells still drop off raid mobs, Noroxus,
Bertoxulous, Uzrathixius/Poxathixius (the Twins), however
you can also now complete the PoD Ability quest (Yarfsnoogle)
as another means of obtaining your spell.
